Hi, i will be visiting Japan shortly flying out of Thailand and wonder if anyone knows if i would get a better rate converting THB to Yen in Thailand or in Japan. Also not sure if THB is an easily acceptable currency at Japanese Exchange booths and best to get Yen before leaving Thailand?

Also i have a UK atm card and wonder if its cheaper to just use my atm in Japan and pay the 3% bank charge instead of transfering £ to Thb account to Yen?

you might want to check superrich exchange rates against other banks in Thailand. there have

good rates and several branches in Bangkok. I am planning to buy some Korean won next month at superrich.
