Hi all,

Just moved back to bkk and about to rent a nice apartment in Pinklao area, in our building they offer 3bb but not sure which package to choose?!

Indy 20m/1m vs. premier 5m/1m...these are the fastest options available i was told by the manager, both about same price but then 5m should be better for international use, i strongly doubt there is that much difference between these so anyone who tested both feel free to share.

Last time we lived here we rented in and old building built in the early 80s and had DC's daily, this building we consider renting in now is about 6month old so hoping to get a stable connection 24/7 (dream on yea?!)

Also, when looking at the 3bb homepage there are two packages that i wasn't aware of (VDSL 20M/5m & VDSL 50M/20m), these two have more upload speed but might not be available everywhere?! Or maybe the building manager was not updated about new packages?

I'm watching alot online TV (sports) from Europe, so looking for a package that supports this.

Cheers.

The manager is right. Although the speed is slower, Premier has more bandwidth than Indie and is essential if you're downloading/streaming video.

Ok thanks mate, will ask around about Premier package but would like speed around 10m down atleast (probably cost a fortune). Anyone know what those VDSL 20M/5m & VDSL 50M/20m are?

Don't waste money on premier. I have 3bb 13/1 and does everything you want. download at 1.5mbs.

Sounds good mate, looking at getting the 20/1 atm, Any idea what those VDSL 20M/5m & VDSL 50M/20m are?
