To ease the ever enlarging waistline Does anyone play badminton at a club or maybe an informal get together. If so any chance of joining you for a game.

Level: Not beginner but at 51 years old I don't want to brake any bones chasing about like mad. So no advanced either.

Use to play in UK 10 years ago once a week

I would prefer to it be part of socialising rather than just walking in on a building where Badminton is played - club like I suppose

Never played myself, but there is a club not far from my place.

It's on #3 Road, west-side, just past the soi 17 intersection (between soi 17 and Thappraya Rd).

I think I'd have a heart-attack if I tried something like that now (and I'm way short of 50 !)

There is a very nice badminton centre just outside Pattaya. I think it’s called Eurocentre. It is the Satahip side of Pattaya. It is signposted from the road.

I was desperate for a game and searched out this centre last year. The courts are good and the price reasonable, however it seemed totally disorganized to me: typically Thai. I was told that there were club nights, but I think that they were just separate groups of people playing together. I wasn’t like any club I have ever been to. I felt that I was intruding on people every time I got a game. I tried it about six or seven times and then gave up on it.

You might have more luck than me.

I live in Ban Chang and have tried to find another Badminton centre in the Rayong or Satahip area, but without success so far.

If you ever fancy a game of singles let me know.

I went by that place yesterday, it's called the Diamond Badminton Club.

I also noticed that there is another club right across the street from it, but I didn't catch the name as I sped by (at the legal speed limit of course )
