i have true
getting no where with customer service
i want to turn the phone off
and know who called me
while it was off when i turn it back on

they already told me a code but all that did was turn my voice mail off (OMFG INSERT RANT HERE)

how can i do this please?
thanks

I have no idea how to turn it on or off, but seems that 12Call has this on by default - it tells you who tried to call you while phone was off, but also sends the caller an SMS about you being available again.

Maybe you could try asking them about "callback service", which I guess is the proper term for this and probably understood by the operators as well.

Not sure if these still work? Or if there are any fees incurred?

In theory it might be better to enable/set-up voice-mail, and route calls based on busy, no answer, out of service to voicemail?

True **62*0891009103# maybe ##002# cancels this service?

Thank you!

I am about to scream, ever since i first called them to get missed call alert when the phone is off, i lost my voice mail service after trying the same number code you and they provided me with.

Now using any and all of the codes does nothing. I lost my vm message but oddly i can call 9100 and re-record it (is this a free service now, is vm free now?)

I keep getting request not complete and VM not activated messages on my phone.

I have called true everyday and every time i get a different story, 6 or 7 times now.

So instead of getting the simple additional service i requested or a simple can not do, i lost what service i had (voice mail).

This is the absolutely one of worst companies on the planet in regards to customer service or service period! ( I wonder how many English speaking people use true mobile simm cards)

Incredibly incompetence, pardon the rant, i need to vent a little.

Thanks.

Helpful advice?

Do the other providers offer 1 baht a minute calling and are their customer services the same or better?

Can i keep my number and change providers (desperate final measure.)?

Do you have TrueMove? Or TrueMove H?

What kind of phone do you have? Please be very specific re: make and model.

You may have to configure your phone for “Call Forwarding” (All calls, when unanswered, when busy, when turned off). The steps to do this vary by phone, some send requests to the network, others mask this process by configuring a menu.

For TrueMove H I think you can forward calls to either:

+66 91 008 8000

Or

+66 89 100 9103

Either/both work for me on TrueMove H. Notification of a missed call arrives a few minutes after the phone is re-started.

You can port out a number from one service provider, and in to another service provider here. The process is called Mobile Number Portability (MNP).

I’ve attached both DTAC/Happy (forward to +66 8111802) and TrueMove H Android configuration and notification screens.

It is a cheapy nokia monchrome.

Would the exact model number make a diff? Everything worked fine before i called them and tried their codes.

I tired the call settings for voice mail (which used to work) but now i get request not completed.

My phone says TRUE i dont know which true, assume the cheaper more basic one, truemove? how can i tell?

I get the same request not completed when i try to activate it or dial the code.

i tried **62*0891009100# from customer service and **62*0891009103# from this thread.

request not completed

Everything was fine before i called them, now i am stuck.

Good news i think it is free or cheaper to now check your voice mail and to set it up, no?

Tomorrow will be day 7 and call 7!!!!

can you believe this shit???

thanks for your time and patience

today we were able to activate the vm service

but once i turned off the phone and back on

i lost it all and could not reactivate it

request not completed

i think i need to get the truemove h or new simm card

however as usual i loath to change anything

many times i call or change something = more or new problems

this company is so incompetent they should make a movie about it or something

i don't want to do it but i think it is high time to change providers

does anyone offer one baht a minute service?

is it free to change?

is it easy to change?

and keep the number?

how is the customer service support at the other networks???

this may be the BIG q

if not better why bother changing

thanks all

pardon the semi rant if that is what this is:

i am starting to see this through the eyes of a thai

and maybe it IS true

this is all my fault for having an old cheap phone and an old simm card

(however i wonder how different things would be were this not the case)

Given that TrueMove's service will end on Sep. 15, 2013, so in less than 90 days, you might be well-advised to port out to TrueMove H sooner rather than later?

Maybe try: **62*+66891009100#

or without that leading + sign? **62*66891009100#

Thanks again.

I think you are right, funny no one has mentioned to me this yet, FIGURES.

I am a bit scared they will screw something else up when i change simms, like loosing my contacts, that almost happened once at a true shop OMFG.

Cheers!

the EXACT code just in case

**61*+66891009100#

i can not tell you how many times true move cust ser got this WRONG

however i am not sure the code is exactly the same for all three conditions

i can test it but there also may be a lag in the request time and activation

why does this have to be so difficult
