North Korean leader Kim Jong Un gave out copies of Adolf Hitler's 'Mein Kampf' to officials

WASHINGTON: -- North Korean authorities have taken interest in the experience of Germany’s National Socialist Party, according to a report by New Focus International, a news organization based outside North Korea, but declaring that it has access to high-level North Korean sources.

It is reported that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, deeply impressed by Germany’s soon revival after the defeat in the First World War, handed out copies of Adolf Hitler's memoir to senior officials.

North Korea threatened to eliminate authors of the reports on studying of “Mein Kampf” by the country's high-rank officials.

"We intend to take drastic measures for physical elimination of these nasty people who commit treason," - said in a statement distributed by KCNA on Wednesday.

With reference to an unnamed source close to the North Korean leadership, New Focus International has said that in January one hundred top North Korean officials received copies of Adolf Hitler’s “Mein Kampf”, as gifts for Kim Jong Un’s birthday.

The book by Nazi leader is banned in the country, but for the occasion it had been published in a limited edition, the media notes.

He is a real darling isn't he. I have been to DPRK and believe me all the stories are true..... And I could add some! Many in fact!

Beijing, I predict, will reign this little runt in, and eventually he will be neutered. I always thought Burma first, followed by DPRK..... Hope I am right because 'God' known to us as Kim Jong-un, leads the most oppressive regime on the planet.

It could have been worse and given everyone, one of those haircuts!

Check out the recent "Vice" tv show with the dear leader partying with Dennis Rodman.

It'd banned in North Korea, but the leader of North Korea hands them out to the elite.

I like this guy. He reminds me of my American politicians.
=\

Just watched it last night . . . quite a show.

the guy is not a full shilling, so why should something like this surprise anybody??

so now we know they can actually read or was it a dumbed down version with illustrations ? :cheesy:

You'd have to be really proficient in german to read it and I guess its also boring as hell :P

And when they are done reading them, they can collect all of them and then open North Korea's first library.

This event shows the deep affinity between all totalitarian regimes, no matter what ideology they use as a cover...

One day something will be invented or someone will learn how to translate words.

One day.

Maybe.

He simply ran out of copies of Marx, Lenin, Stalin and Mao. These are the only ones left...laugh.png

Why, Oh why? people are talking to him? And why will they give him whatever he needs?..

North Korea is a natural barrier for China protecting it from the considerable number of US military in South Korea.

Beijing is reliant on a relationship with North Korea. They are allies although the relationship does not always seem cordial if you believe what is read in the Chinese press.

Once Kim is neutered, the north / south divide will eventually be reconciled and Uncle Sam can go home. This I predict will be sooner rather than later..... The Chinese would love to have the Korean Peninsula opened up for trade and communications. Your assumptions sound similar to those of a dear old friend I had in Germany.... Before the wall came down. Remember the impregnable Berlin Wall. Just a question of time. Asia is no longer tolerant of these crackpots!

Complete shameful propaganda bullshit. 99 you have no clue. There are pretty girls everywhere, but in N Korea they are either senior party members or 'guests' thereof.

Beijing is tolerant of Kim. South Korea does not want to be absorbed by China. That's why there are US troops there. China is a communist dictatorship just like North Korea.

No china would not. A united Korea would pose a serious economic threat to China. South Korea's oligarchy already has some of the world's keep ship building and heavy machinery production capacity and the Chinese would dearly like to take some of this market. China does what is in its best interests and having South Korea spending a large part of its budget to defend against a psycho nation suits Chinese interests just fine. Watching the Japanese wet their kiminos at the prospect of a North Korean nuke probably is an added bonus.

I stand by post #21. China is waiting to come in from out of the cold..... And they will choose when the time is right. It's good to have differing opinions though.

Well one thing is definitely for sure. As geriatrickid said:

Beijing doesn't give a monkey's toss about Kim's fascism. It suits them.

Nasty.

If they are senior party members they would be, by definition, senior - hardly pretty 'girls'

Look at all the US bedfellows, past and present . . . Nasty

Sing, you said....

I say, you haven't got a clue what you are on about. Unless you have been to a different part of Pyongyang to me?

I can understand your fantasy's...... But perhaps you should not give the impression you know what is what just from looking at a stage managed photo.

Don't deflect what is wrong with North Korea ( and China) by having a go at the US.

So, you're saying that 'senior' equates to young . . . If you say so.

Deflect? Did I do that? Please do point out where I in any way minimised them . . . but you will notice that 'China does what is best interests' as though that were an amazing feat in a parallel universe
