I still cannot quite believe it but my girlfriend has recently been granted a visitor visa to visit me in the UK :D . It seems a long time ago but I came across this forum by accident in November. By this time I had already done some research on the UK visa web site. I had to spend several hours wading through the 100 pages :o of messages posted here but this was definitely time well spent. I am sure by reading of others' experiences that I was able to help prepare all the supporting information the ECO was expecting. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this site :D

Could someone assist me with one further question. As my girlfriend will be visiting for only two months I know she will not require a TB vaccination. However are there any other proof of vaccinations needed to gain entry to the UK?

Cheers

Mermot,

Your girlfriend does not require any form of medical pre-clearance to come to the UK as a visitor. If she has her visit visa she can come regardless: the TB test is only for those who wish to stay in the UK in excess of 6 months.

Cheers,

Scouse.
