I still cannot quite believe it but my girlfriend has recently been granted a visitor visa to visit me in the UK . It seems a long time ago but I came across this forum by accident in November. By this time I had already done some research on the UK visa web site. I had to spend several hours wading through the 100 pages of messages posted here but this was definitely time well spent. I am sure by reading of others' experiences that I was able to help prepare all the supporting information the ECO was expecting. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this site

Could someone assist me with one further question. As my girlfriend will be visiting for only two months I know she will not require a TB vaccination. However are there any other proof of vaccinations needed to gain entry to the UK?

Your girlfriend does not require any form of medical pre-clearance to come to the UK as a visitor. If she has her visit visa she can come regardless: the TB test is only for those who wish to stay in the UK in excess of 6 months.
