I'm using Firefox on Windows 7 ultimate x64 and am on a 3G connection.

Sometimes when I access a page like this one http://finance.yahoo.com/blogs/daily-ticker/fed-statement-could-lead-amateur-hour-markets-130359279.html;_ylt=AtDVEU25HKQgcDIsNtU_PpmiuYdG;_ylu=X3oDMTN1MjFoMGF0BG1pdANGaW5hbmNlIEZQIE1lZ2F0cm9uIDIEcGtnA2NjODE4YTAyLWRmMmUtMzMzMC05MjlhLTFkM2U3ZjViN2MzZgRwb3MDMQRzZWMDbWVnYXRyb24EdmVyA2JmNGQ2MzEyLWQ4ZTAtMTFlMi1iZmJmLTg4ZDlhYzI4M2UxYQ--;_ylg=X3oDMTFkcW51ZGliBGludGwDdXMEbGFuZwNlbi11cwRwc3RhaWQDBHBzdGNhdANob21lBHB0A3BtaA--;_ylv=3

It will have a flash video on the page which will automatically download, even after I click the pause button.

This isn't a favorable situation for me,so how do I prevent the flash player from loading automatically.

A big thumbs up for flashblock - I have found this will save a ton of your 3G bandwidth and when your limit is used you can still slow surf without the hassle of the flash ads etc. You can still invoke anything you wish to see as long as it is not blocked by ICT laugh.png .

Ad block is also useful as long as Thailand limits 3G volume so much. I can't afford to see the ads at my own expense, which is sad because I think ads support better web sites.

I personally don't mind reasonable ads if they don't cost me and don't make the pages dysfunctional for so many users.

edit add: If your on firefox it is one of the addon you can load.
