Secure Storage Units?

Off to India for up to 3 months to do some intensive yoga , and I'd like to look into the potential costs and general 'whats and wherefors' for storing my stuff.

Could anyone offer any advice, or links, so that I can get my tiny brain around the possibility for storing everything somewhere safe & secure, as opposed to renting an apartment but not occupying it.

don't think it would be very safe and secure there..big but not safe and secure.
