im shore some of you here will be able to help me on this,

i live out in the sticks, what would be the best way for me to get conected to the internet, in thailand, near sakoew,

we do have true move it that helps, i just want to be in contact with family and frinds and work,

thank you jake

Can you share any details?

Do your have a phone? If so, what is the make and model?

Do you have a PC or tablet?

What kinds of applications do you want to use?

How much data, in Mega-Bytes or Giga-Bytes, do you think you might upload/download per month?

What is your monthly budget for internet access?

Assuming you have a PC then a USB Aircard, with a SIM and a monthly mobile data plan might be the simplest solution. However the speeds might be quite slow unless 3G is available.

But there may be other alternatives: DSL, TOT Wi-NET, 3G from CAT/TrueMove H.

Maybe best to talk with neighbors to see what they are using? Talk to TOT, CAT, TrueMove H.

Can you tell us approximately where, in Sa Kaeo province, you live or stay? Maybe with a nearby highway number/intersection? If you are near a main highway or the provincial capital, then there may be several decent higher-speed options.

Do you have a mobile phone? Or do you know anyone nearby who has a mobile phone? Which service provider do they use?

OK. As you have a laptop and a dongle (USB aircard), which is great to know, you merely need a SIM, and some money, and then subscribe to a data plan.

Are you close to Rt. 317?

Depending on the exact specifications of your dongle (make and model?), and your requirements/budget, your options might be: TrueMove H or My by CAT, AIS/One-2-Call or DTAC/Happy.

If the dongle is from the UK it's likely to be locked to a UK network and not usable unless it can be unlocked cheaply. It would probably be better to get a new dongle that's suitable for the best signal in your area.
