Car Park fee and transport to Khao San Rd

Featured Replies

Is the carparking in DMK still free ?

Is there a mini van service to Khao San Rd from DMK or public bus ?

Don't know about transport to Khao San Road but parking at the Terminal 2 lot was free two days ago, just a longish walk back to T-1. Also don't know about the T-1 downstairs parking as I've tended to avoid it since T-2 opened lots of years back.

Car park at DMK Terminal 2 is still free. (Terminal 1 is NOT free). Last update 26-Aug-2013.

DMK to KSR take bus 59. Get on at the bus stop along the main road, you have to walk about 100m north (turn right when exiting arrival terminal) of arrival terminal, the bus stop is right there where cars come into the terminal from the main road. 59 takes you pass victory monument, then to democracy monument just near KSR.

Or take bus 29 to Hua Lumphong (BKK main train station). Like 59, it also go pass the victory monument. From Ha Lumphong to Khao San area, catch bus 53 which will drop you in a walking distance of every guest house.

Terminal:

All airlines use T1. T2 is closed.

Parking:

T1 charged, while T2 is FREE (although the T2 terminal is close, T2 car park is open)

Here is how to get to the Free car park:
