Can i name the dentist practise in question ?

yes...kids have first teeth for about 8 to 12 years of age. You dont have to do ANYTHING until...maybe 12 years of age and then it is highly suspect if you have to do anything at that age. RIPOFF.

Guess not a good idea to mention the name as may well be deleted , but if you go to Rang Hill in Phuket town , just look to your left as you start to go up at the junction .bah.gif

Worst thing is if I wasn't there pound to a penny the wife would of just agreed with the dentist and let them drill away ,

Now not too many things annoy me here , but this has really got under my skin .

I was told a few months ago by a dentist in Rawai - just south of the circle, specialises in implants, don't know the name. They took an X-ray and produced a tiny - 1" by 2" - negative that 'showed' a bad root. About 50 - 60,000 baht's worth of work.

Second opinion in Phuket town: they took an X-ray, put in on a screen about 15" across. Pure white root, no problems.

You just can't trust anyone here.

For both of you. The dentist technology has gone far from the times we were kids. It's nowadays way less painful experience.

It's worth of going to Phuket town to see the dentists. I'm using one which I trust (and that doesn't come easy).

It's actually very nice feeling to be able to sit on the dentists chair and not to feel uncomfortable. Professional dentists know how and when to apply painkillers so that the overall experience, during and after the treatment, is the best as possible.
