Popular Post Nickymaster
O really? And how do we stop Thaksin from receiving kick-backs from KWater because that would then happen outside Thailand? And how do we know that Thaksin doesn't make double deals with foreign fishy governments when selling rice on confidential G to G contracts? Give me a break Yingluck. You have preached this for 2 years now and still today the most corrupt guy, Pladprasop, is still in charge of the THB 350,000,000,000 controversial water budget. You only use people that can serve and enrich you and your family. Nobody in your cabinet is chosen because of quality. Well, maybe only Red Shirt leader Nathawut................................ And if you like accountability and justice, why do you keep replacing and transferring your ministers so often? Maybe something to do with "you better leave before you get caught"? Popular Post Nickymaster
We are now at Yingluck cabinet 5! How many actions have been taken? Correct ZERO actions against anybody related to PT since Yingluck became PM and corruption is at his highest level in Thai history. Go figure who is fooling who...
Popular Post aguy30
"The Prime Minister is placing great emphasis on transparency and justice in the government’s affairs" The only thing transparent about this government is that the real PM lives in Dubai. Really bad timing because it is either too early or too late for April Fool's day.

Popular Post Wavefloater
This woman must have a team of comedy writers working around the clock. She says the most ridiculous and unbelievable things. Who in their right mind us going to think that a system of government so deeply ingrained in a cloak of corruption, nepotism, and cronyism for decades is going to suddenly do a 180 degree turn, especially when the idea is being voiced by some bimbo airhead and her fugitive brother?
chainarong
I would say that corruption is on a level with the previous Thaskin Administration , no where near as bad, as when the corrupt junta ruled Thailand , corruption on any scale is a blight on the government and it's population for allowing this to bloom, so the question must be asked, why not practice what you preach, the PTP is very quick on talk, but very slow on action, in most area's of governance in Thailand

Popular Post GentlemanJim
My participation on the site over the last four days has been about 10% of normal as we have had a surge of unbelievable, crappy crass news items involving Chief Airhead and I simply cannot take any more of the gibbering nonsense and lies that spontaneously erupt from the mouths of Ministers. We are now getting to the point where the historical account of the conduct of this present Government could have been worthy of writing by The Brothers Grimm.

assayer
Legal actions will be taken against those taking part in corruption, adding that the government has a clear intention to eradicate the country's chronic corruption problems. Is this to be a change in policy? Or is the legal action to be amnesty to all involved in corruption? The most corrupt person to have been caught and had a verdict issued against them is no other than "big bro". At a seminar held to promote good governance, Prime Minister and Defense Minister Yingluck Shinawatra said the government has always been focusing on transparency. And just how transparrent is the rice Scheme, the 350 billion baht flood control project, and the 2 trillion baht infrastructure loan??

pb1936
Can anyone believe for a moment that there will be a determined clean-up of corruption ? worgeordie
Is no one even slightly worried about criticizing the PM and the Government, maybe thinking that no one with any power ,does not read these threads,as it seems like the PM and most of the Government has a hair trigger when it comes to criticism of what they do and say, even if it is all true. Fighting a case in a Thai court would be my idea of a nightmare and like I said even if what you wrote was 100% true, winning would be virtually impossible, and would end up very costly in many ways, the only upside, you would be required to stay in Thailand while the case slowly dragged its way through the judicial system ,wonder if you would still be required to get visa ! regards Worgeordie
