Hi, can someone help me find the main dealers for Honda and SYM here in CM? I am having the hardest time locating them, and the internet is no help at all. I'll be scooter shopping tomorrow hopefully. Thank you.

Honda Big Wing is located very near Tapae Gate. You can find map on this link https://foursquare.com/v/honda-big-wing-chiang-mai/50d59c89e4b02f73940f3dfd

The scooters are located in the showroom behind the 'big bikes'...

I can't help you with SYM but can recommend the Forza which I bought last week. I was worried that the SYM would not hold its price as well as the Honda and would have a limited service, spares back-up network etc...

Just note Forza has been recalled , problem with back wheel, see current thread running.

PS. Great bike to ride :)

Thanks for the heads up about the recall. I just bought the bike last week. No doubt when I take it back to Big Wing they won't know or admit to the recall, TIT... saai.gif

Do you have the link for the thread, so many posts to go through and the search engine sucks...

Honda build quality is nowhere near as good as it was just a few years ago (SYM are at least equal)and Honda resale values starting to show lower returns now,as this lack of service care and dealer back-up from Honda takes its toll in a competative market place. Took girlfriends Honda to main dealer , where she bought it from ,to check tyre pressures as due to a design fault with the wheel shape i cant get my digital gauge on the rear tube (only the front). "Mechanic" simply blew tyre up till it FELT right.I watched horrified - main trained dealer dont forget - girlfriend was happy and even told me to pay for this service LOL. Got home and checked pressure - - - 65 PSI !.Could have easily had a blowout and a nasty accident.Girlfriend wouldnt have re-checked mechanics work.Lucky i did.Honda has had its day. Industry insiders have said for the past 4 or 5 years Yamaha is the class leader in terms of quality and service. If Yamaha dont do a model you like then buy the SYM as it should prove a better bet nowadays . Good luck

Neighbour has several bikes, from Harley to BMW. He recently brought a SYM 400cc scooter and says its bloody incredible. He enjoys the ride better than the others and is always out and about on it.

Thats good enough a recommendation for me thumbsup.gif
