A year ago there was quite a dust up on TV over who was the pound for pound best in and around the welterweight division. Since that time, Manny has gone on to be brutally KO'd by WMM and is taking his next show to China. Whereas, Floyd has signed the biggest boxing deal in the history of the sport and remains undefeated. He's also about to take on, what many see as his biggest challenge since defeating Diego Coralis, with his fight against Canelo Alverez on Sept.14. A fight which is being billed as "The One". I can't wait to see this fight. The Floyd haters may finally get their wish. This kid, Canelo Alverea, will possibly come in 20 pounds heavier than Mayweather. But that's okay as long as Floyd gets beaten down a lot of people will be thrilled.

Personally, I like both Manny and Floyd for what they bring to the game and I still think a fight between the two of them can and will be made before Floyd retires, IF Manny can get past Rios and then avenge his loss against Timothy Bradley. I think Manny won the Bradley fight. But unfortunately, what anyone thinks doesn't matter. It's in the books as a loss for Pacquaio and a loss it will always be.

I think Manny beats Rios if he can avoid getting hit flush like he did against WMM. He definitely beats Bradley if they fight again. However, that's a big if because WMM will knock Bradley out in their upcoming fight. He will then fight Manny again if Arum offers him the money he deserves. If not, he walks away and possibly retires. He has already stated he will not fight Floyd again. Perhaps that finally opens the door to a Mayweather fight.

My prediction is Floyd pulls out the upset over the much bigger Canelo and Manny beats Rios. The rest depends on what Wan Manuel Marquez does to Bradley.
