Trusteer Rapport

Featured Replies

Banking with RBS in the UK they and others advise and supply Trusteer Report. Today I notice that I now have installed instead of Rapport something called Trusteer EndPoint Protection. The installation appears to have happened, one its own, earlier today.

This is okay and anyone else have the same installation change. thanks

just checked mine says the same as what you said trusteer endpoint protection must have done it in the background btw I am with hsbc

Yes the Rapport update appears a little more than an update. It replaces program "Rapport" with ""Trusteer Endpoint Protection" 3.5.1302.54

Has been rolled out over the last few days. By default the update happens automatically (that's how Rapport works!).

A few problems reported in the UK. e.g. won't logoff/shutdown and even hangs on startup. Of-course, with the update having happened invisibly people will not automatically realise that it is the new program that may be causing a problem. One to watch out for.

PS. if anybody has a problem, a rollback (system restore in safe mode) to the old Rapport is a good thing to try. The clever thing about system restore is that it won't lose any personal files. Ian.
