Donation to the Khlong Toey Music Program

Hi guys! I just got a link from one of my Thai's friend facebook and was admire on the afford of Expat's like us doing some great program for slum children in Bangkok. It's a Music Program for the children of Khlong-toey slum in Bangkok. It is the non-profit program which establish by the very kind French girl who want to give these children an opportunity like some of us. This program is supported by "Playing for Change Foundation".

They are open for any kind of donation, such as rental, used furniture, used electronic appliances, fund and more. Please keep in mind that it needs to be in working order.

I am sending the flyer and the link to this foundation.

I'm thinking to donate some small money and the drinking glass for them.

Don't think that it's a case of no-one being interested, and I'm sure that it's a worthy cause. Quite a few of us contribute to children's charities, but local Phuket ones (orphans from the Tsunami etc). Maybe you'd generate more response in the Bangkok forum.

I'm reluctant to donate to charity here unless it's items, not cash.

Take some books and toys to the orphanage is more rewarding than dumping some money at some faceless admin.
