Bus Overturns on Phuket-Phatthalung Route, Leaving 11 Injured, Three-Year-Old Critical
Pictures from responders. A Phuket-Phatthalung bus driver lost control and rolled on its side, at the Khao Po Curve in Phang Nga, injuring multiple passengers, including a critically injured three-year-old child. At approximately 18:00 on 20th February, officers from Takua Thung Police Station received a report of a public transport vehicle crash, resulting in multiple injuries. Emergency responders, including rescue teams from Wat Kao Charoentham, Phu Nga EMS, and the Phang Nga Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Unit, were dispatched to the scene. The crash occurred on Phetkasem Road in Moo 5, Krasom Subdistrict, Takua Thung District, Phang Nga Province. Upon arrival, responders found a pink Phuket-Phatthalung bus, registered in Trang, lying on its side. The front windscreen was shattered, and skid marks indicated the vehicle had lost control, colliding with a roadside tree stump before rolling onto its side. The rear of the bus had also struck a power pole. A total of 11 people were injured, with a three-year-old boy suffering severe injuries. He was immediately transported to Phang Nga Hospital for emergency treatment. Preliminary investigations revealed that the bus had departed from Phuket, heading towards Phatthalung. At the time of the crash, rain had made the road surface slippery. Authorities suspect that the combination of wet conditions and excessive speed caused the driver to lose control, leading to the vehicle skidding off the road. Police have launched an investigation, gathering evidence and interviewing both the driver and passengers to determine the exact cause of the crash and any legal implications. -- 2025-02-21 -

12-Year-Old in Critical Condition After Vaping for Two Years
The fact that she started at 10 years old is crazy and should have never happened. Unfortunately they don’t know how to make a law and enforcing it. They don’t even do it for cigarettes. Sadly many young children are still going to do this until there are laws and looked after by their parents. Being illegal is just a joke. They need to regulate it like beer and maybe like many places scan their I’d in order to buy anything that requires you to be over 21. Heavy air pollution, age and vapes are not a good thing. Maybe they can at least discuss the dangers in school, instead of just saying they are illegal and obviously not enforced at school. -

anyone who thinks they are not on the authorities' radar in some way other the other is mistaken. some of us are in the system earlier than others, but for all foreigners living in thailand year-round, there is no long-term escape ... only if you live here illegally and under a rock ... -

Why do The Cars sound like Boston? Anybody know?
Peoples opinions on music mean little. See how long some bands took to get elected into the hall of fame and see how much crapola got there easy. Pop music is huge, although it's the least talented musicians and much of it is soulless pap. All personal taste and a lot of people like music they can dance to. Much of the best music will never be heard by the masses.
