Ive been in thailand a year now - love it. I have to return to Sydney next month (Mid October). Qantas according to their website is priced at 20,500 baht, abt $730 - very expensive (one way this is, not return), Thai Air is almost the same price (collusion??)

Im flexible with dates.. any suggestions for cheaper fare (non stop)

cheers

Air Asia comes in at 10,235 baht promo seat price for October

Most/many of the price comparison websites do not search for Low Cost Carriers I believe.

thanks - just checked it out - looks like all the air asia flights to SYD are via KUL = a very long flight . will check further..thanks again

Check out Jetstar they have a direct flight from BKK to Melbourne. Usually cheap but its an overnight flight and you still have to include a domestic flight as well.

Sent from somewhere using something

Check out Scoot Airlines. They some times have very cheap flights. Bkk to Singapore, 2 hour stop over in Singapore then on to Sydney.

Air Asia and Scoot 10,550 and 10,562 baht, both about 2 hours layover AA in K.L. and Scoot in Singapore

Edit: that was searching for Tuesday 16th.......... if day is not important, try lots of different days... with some airlines fly on week-end can be a lot cheaper or more expensive..

eg: fly on Sat 12 Oct............ Scoot 9,660, same day on Air Asia = 12,960 baht... !! all prices are with All Tax and Fees

P.S..... do find this website good for checking as also gives cheap budget airline as well.. http://www.cheaptickets.co.th/en?s=76018806
