I know its prob been done to death but just need to be 100%, Im going next mth to Thailand (Sangkha) want to stop at least 2 mth but will only have the 30 day stamp from the immergration so is it just a case of going through the Border into Cambodia for a few hours then come back for a new stamp or is it more involved than that?

Sangkha is 20 mins from the boarder so didnt want to pay a company to take me a place i can ride on my bike! :)

Thanks for the help as i get the feeling this is a daft Q!!

Thanks

O i cant get a 3 mth visa,No money in my UK bank account its all in cash and tucked away.

A border crossing will only give you 15 days.

The problem you may have is if you have a ticket out of the country within 30 days you can be denied boarding your flight to here.

A single entry tourist visa would be the best option. It would give you 60 days on entry that can be extended 30 days at immigration (1900 baht). No need for a ticket out this way.

You need a tourist visa or risk not getting on flight without onward ticket within 30 days. You do not need any special financials to obtain a tourist visa and that will give you the 60 day stay without any issues and can be extended another 30 days at immigration office. Crossing border would only get a 15 day visa exempt entry but can be done easily yourself and no need to spend any extra time in Cambodia (although they might insist for awhile before allowing exit without extra payment).
