Recommendations architect

Featured Replies

Can anyone recommend a good thai architect? I would like to build a tuscany style 3 bed 2 storey.

I had to Google 'tuscany style' - can't say I've ever come across this type of architecture in Thailand, and no architects I know of would have the right knowledge of the design concepts involved. It would also need an engineer to design the large spans I'm seeing, as they break all of the standard design rules here.

Sure looks like an expensive way to build a house too, with all those big exposed beams and stonework - both of which you will have difficulties sourcing here. Mai Daeng or Teak wood beams that size are going to cost you thousands of dollars each.

I wish you luck though - if it's anything like the houses I'm seeing on Google it will be both beautiful and unique!

roof gradient of a Tuscany style home too low for a country with heavy rains combined with wind gusts.

Like this. I believe all of this is Thailand, mostly Pattaya (Silk road and the new project opposite the Cartoon Network Water park in Na jomtien-Bang Saray)
