Some months ago I posted a thread entitiled "Is Bedlam Getting Boring"

Well this is ONLY my opinion but it now seems to be alive and kicking again..mainly (I beleive) because there has been an influx of new members reaching the 500 post mark.

Tippaporn for instance has really got a great understanding of what Bedlam is all about as well as other "Funny" posters like Daleyboy & Redrus to name but two. :o

On writing, the first page full of topics under discussion is only 4 days old. I think that when I posted the "Is it getting boring" thread the first page was about 3 weeks old.

So well done to everyone that is contributing to this "Crazy Forum" .. it certainly seems to be much more fun and there is a lot less political crap on it now.

3 cheers for BEDLAM..hip hip....ah forget it :D

You see, drop the politics and things can only get better.

I agree, even if you are not posting, it's fun to read.

Thanks TP, its about time someone recognised my <deleted> wit and humour, but i dont like being classed next to that northern monkey rus, he has just followed me in on my shirt tails and tries his best, but being a northener he just cant cut it :o:D

But your right mate, bedlam has become a whole lot more interesting since the influx of new members. A far more entertaining read :D

but being a northener he just cant cut it :o:D

Shut the <deleted> up tractor boy, there's more than one northerner on this site :D:D

So have you still got the perm and shell suit as well MRBO? :D

At least my sister isn't also my mother!

Bloody inbred yokel mutants!

So .. my sisters my mum... well, that clears that up..! :o

totster :D

At least you only have to buy one Christmas present for your sister and your mother, instead of two! :o

And your father's also your brother. Quite common in the rural south I understand!

It always amazes me how many Working Mens Clubs there are up north..... yet most of the members of these clubs are unemployed... :o

You musn't have been up North for a while Tots. We've moved on now and we call them "Working Men's Wine Bars" :D

P.S. DaleyBoy, the perms and shellsuits are the Scousers not the Mancs :D:D However, at least they change into a White Shell suit on their wedding day :D

Wow, made my brain hurt trying to work that one out! But if your Father married your sister after conceiving you, then your sister is your mother and your father is also your step-brother. Closest I could get. :o

I know, I know I over-analyse everything ho-hum :D

How did that song go...

Oh, many, many years ago

When I was twenty-three

I was married to a widow

Who was pretty as can be

This widow had a grown-up daughter

Who had hair of red

My father fell in love with her

And soon the two were wed

This made my dad my son-in-law

And changed my very life

For my daughter was my mother

'Cause she was my father's wife

To complicate the matter

Though it really brought me joy

I soon became the father

Of a bouncing baby boy

This little baby then became

A brother-in-law to Dad

And so became my uncle

Though it made me very sad

For if he was my uncle

Then that also made him brother

Of the widow's grown-up daughter

WHo of course is my step-mother

Chorus

I'm my own grandpa

I'm my own grandpa

It sounds funny I know

But it really is so

Oh, I'm my own grandpa

My father's wife then had a son

Who kept them on the run

And he became my grandchild

For he was my daughter's son

My wife is now my mother's mother

And it makes me blue

Because although she is my wife

She's my grandmother too

Now if my wife is my grandmother

Then I'm her grandchild

And every time I think of it

It nearly drives me wild

For now I have become

The strangest case you ever saw

As husband of my grandma

I am my own grandpa

[chorus]

At least my sister isn't also my mother!
And your father's also your brother

...but they've got to be. Otherwise they'd be brother and sister and you'd just be a three headed son - but not their brother and sister. Or if one was your brother (or sister) and they got your sister (or brother - er you know what I mean) pregnant, then only your mum (dad) would be your sister (brother) not both (brother ansd sister). See?

Oh, my head hurts - I'm going to do something more meaningful instead and give me brain a rest :D:D:D

So... my sister coming on to me is doubly bad now that she's my mother also .. ? :D

totster :D

but not so bad, when she´s your second cousin thrice removed... TP, Good post, and agreed... Bedlam is on one of it´s "ups" right now. We cshould also thank our girl Thaibebop for her input though...

Kayo,I Thought Thaibop was a bloke! Thaibop's gender was if I remember called into question but I thought that somebody vouched for the fact that Thaibop was a man?

Confused...you bet... Concerned... not in the slightest!

But I agree with you that its definatley the New Order Bedlam posters that are breathing new life into the forum. Personally I really NEVER used to bother coming here as it was full of "The famous three's postings and PESONALLY I found these really BORING

Oedipus didn't suffer from an Oedipus complex!

Oedipus didn't suffer from an Oedipus complex!

I'll have to take your word for that ! :o

totster :D

Oedipus didn't suffer from an Oedipus complex!

Difficult for a mythological person to suffer anything, but Freud decided to give it some credence along with anything that feels good or tastes good must be sexual. :o

Thanks for the honourable mention, TP. :D Yes, Bedlam has had a bit of a revival returning to some of it's former psychotic glory. Now if we can only bring back the tits thread . . . can't be any worse than some of the banners lately. :o

Oedipus didn't suffer from an Oedipus complex!

He didn't know that mommy dearest was mommie dearest. :o

Well this is ONLY my opinion but it now seems to be alive and kicking again..

If this is alive and kicking then my hiatus has been well worth it and Bedlam has become more boring than ever. It's like an old boring movie that is perfect for late at night because you know you are guaranteed to fall asleep 15 minutes into it. Yawnsville!

you've obviously not experienced the revival and excitement of "the last word" thread... speaking of which...
