Return to YouTube's old way of buffering

Featured Replies

Did some Youtubing tonight and played around with the YouTube Center settings a little more. Remembered the post I made a few days ago about above error coding. In the settings I found a setting called "Quality" under the UI, VideoThumbnail menu. The Quality setting block was checked, I unchecked it, problem gone, no more Error! message appearing when you mouse over a video thumbnail.

That did it. Thanks for the find. thumbsup.gif

In the Youtube Center settings under Player, Auto Play, have you enabled/check marked the Prevent Auto Play selections? You also may need to enable the Auto Buffering settings in the same area. First try the Prevent Auto Play selections...then maybe the Auto Buffering selections.

I'm using my laptop right now that has XP on it (my other laptop with Win7 is broke right now) and with only the Prevent Auto Play settings check marked I get no Auto Play, not even briefly like you mention.
