Shoeboat Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 I guess the Manchester United pub - if it was still there, though it's now Champions. Any other suggestions?
dukeandduke Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 I was wondering the same thing, given that so many bars were closed last night. I haven't heard if tonight will be different.
Shoeboat Posted October 26, 2013 Author Posted October 26, 2013 It's not a no alcohol public holiday today is it?
Bangkokhatter Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 (edited) It's not a no alcohol public holiday today is it? The head monk passed away last Thursday and a 15 day mourning period was announced. I have only heard that some places in town were not open last night, but all the bars where i drink on the outskirts of BKK were open. Just read the Government extended it to 30 days. dukeandduke Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 I was walking on Lower Sukhumvit last night, and I saw a couple of policemen on the streets. It took me a while to figure out why. I couldn't find a bar that was open, including the street bars.
