Witch Hazel

I went to 3 different pharmacies but had no luck finding witch hazel.

Anyone know if or where I can buy witch hazel or if it is not available in CM, preparation H?

Its an American/Canadian plant, it doesn't grow naturally in Asia, so probably not available here other than by import. You could try online or perhaps western supermarkets. They tend to use tiger balms instead here.

I think Scheriproct (not certain about the spelling) is similar to preparation H.

Just tell the pharmacy what you want it for & theyll put you right.

I think Tiger Balm would burn like buggery.

Never found Withch Hazel.

I realize that even though I have been already to 3 pharmacies and probably spoke to clerks possibly with only limited knowledge, perhaps you can suggest where I can find a true English speaking Pharmacist?

A friend of mine is here visiting who is a Pharmacist and I just asked her for the names of some products. She says the most popular product available in Thailand is called Proctosedyl ointment (Sanofi-Aventis) . Also available in suppositories. She says another popular product is "Happy Hippo" cream (Zinc Oxide). Hope that helps.
