It is a possibility. You could not possibly "hang your bottom over the side" with 40 people looking on could you??????????????

Just keep staring them down. Guaranteed no one will look you in the face. :o

ok. i have a true story from a passenger of mine from my tour leading days. we were on the same boat trip (different boat - we were on a regular long tail not a ferry), which is about 1.5 - 2 hours. this girl had a terrible bladder infection and REALLY had to pee. she was getting quite distressed and the boat driver ended up giving her one of these little toilet scoop bucket things.

she ended up having the other women in the group surround her with towels, sarong etc, to give her privacy, and she did it in the scoop thing. the boat driver was so kind to actually stop the boat whilst she did it!

emptied over the side, the trip carried on as normal, and the driver was cool with it.

wasnt a problem in the end.

BUT - i THINK there is one boat that does that route with a loo on it? could be wrong though.

THanks for all the "advice" I am going to stick to taking NOZY or Imodium or Lomatil thanks !!!!!!!!!! Over and out.

Prevention is better than cure.

Eat nothing an hour before travel

Dump......... as close to embarcation time as possible.

Drink only water, no fizzy drinks.

Do not eat anything on the vessel.

Take 2 Imodium just b4 before travel, and one tab after 1 hr.

If that doesn't create constipation, nothing will. :o

My first visit to LOS was a package tour which included 3 days in the Asia hotel and various excursions, one of which was a day trip to Ayuthaya - coach there, boat back. The coach left at 7am so I got up at 6 to have some breakfast. The Asia had a big breakfast buffet which included lots of fruit which looked delicious. Bad move! I spent all the time on the coach sitting in the small and smelly crapper, lurching my way to Ayuthaya becoming progressively lighter :o:D
