What is good to grow in North East Thailand?

Featured Replies

Good evening all,I just finished clearing about 2 rai and I have trucks coming with soil tomorrow to level out the land and a tractor to prepare it for growing vegetables,But I don't really have any idea what I can grow easily and I was wondering what everyone else was growing and any advice would be great-fully accepted, the land is adjacent to the road and very well sheltered with large trees and brush and good powered water,

Thank's in advance,

D

Maybe look at asparagus plant once and when ready i have heard the plants keep on producing.

I should look around you to see what neighbours are planting although most of them won't be working on raised land. Look also at market prices, ฿350.-/Kg for pepper corn looks great until you work out how much work it needs.

I had all sorts of innovative ideas before I came here and gave up on most of them. What about Cassava?
