Proton Exora owners?

Featured Replies

Hey Exora owners,

I own an 12 years old Zafira (great car, but expensive service) and now it's time to change it to something more recent. And it must be 7-seater. But the budget is super limited, so after some research I figured out the only choice is 2-3 years second hand Proton Exora.

Please, if there are owners here, tell me your stories (happy? horror?)... If you had to fix something, how easy and much was that? Is the engine enough to haul 7 people uphill? Any intermittent hard-to-catch issues?

Thank you

As no owner [if any] have replied

No I do not have one, but a few Thai friends have them, appears they are good, not a lot of options for an 7 seat Estate car out there at a lowish cost... Friends that bought before had Toyota Wish or Honda Stream, [both no longer in Thailand] one guy uses his for Business and has done near 300,000 KM with no issues at all.. only talking to one the other day says he will buy another, the new model with the 1.6 Turbo engine would be better..

one guy did get the Kia Grand Carnival, says is fine just do not take it to a Kia dealership as they charge crazy prices.

Suzuki Ertiga is new and 7 seats cost from 554,000 baht Brand New.. but a bit smaller than the Zafira.
