WitawatWatawit
You need to be more specific. "Foreign press" encompasses a broad canvas. You can't tar them all with the same brush.

NeverSure
Let's see. Elected Prime Minister in mud wrestling contest with corrupt would-be dictator. Style points awarded for most corrupt referees. People are being paid 500 baht each to watch. Winner gets to solve the rice scheme and rubber scheme and new car scheme and new house scheme and flood scheme problems. Results at 11:

Popular Post keemapoot
If you watched the Veronica Pedrosa (Aljazeera) interview, I would hardly say she was supporting Yingluck, in fact, she could hardly suppress her incredulity at the attempted answers.
Popular Post kikoman
While I do not care for Thaskin's politic's, or for his sister Yingluck, in a Democracy the PM should be voted out of office or impeached. To change governments and bowing to mob rule will only compound the countries problems with future governments. As Yingluck stated she would have no problem with resigning from office, if an election was held as stated in the constitution and the protesters know they will lose any election that was held. You can not disagree with the majority rule option if you feel the wrong person was elected, you must live with the results of the election until the next election is held, where the majority of voters will again rule. The Democrats have not won an election in decades, if they do not change their party platform they will not attract middle of the road voters that can be the difference between being victorious in any future elections. The power structure of the party are not willing to share the riches of the country, with the common people, and the common people will keep voting for those that consider their needs, the families needs come before the needs of the nation in most workers eyes, There is no political live and let live policy in that political party. What is wrong with the present PM as she did not get elected to office on her abilities and owes all to her brother's political machine. She was extremely foolish in pushing the amnesty bill as her brother ordered and not consider the backlash to her government. The courts need to make it clear that amnesty can not be passed simply to aid Thaskin to come back to the country and not face incarceration. The future does not look to bright for Thai politics. seajae
Actually I emailed the ABC in Australia because their press releases on Thailand were like red shirt paid advertisements. Their decription of the riots had the reds as heros and not causing any violence but as the victims, thaksin as a great thai hero loved by all & set up by the army and yingluck as a smart leader. Obviously whoever is writing these stories is a red/ptp sympathizer, even the bill they tried to pass had no mention of all the fraud let offs involved just thaksins innocence. Very dissapointed that it is not unbiased reporting but these days that is very hard to find.
