grumpyfaceddog Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 I wonder if there are any reasonably priced native English speaking lawyers/ retired lawyers in Chiang Mai who could help me with a long running case in the UK? Legal advice is not needed as I have a lawyer in the UK, but I am based in Chiang Mai and would like someone to help draft statements/compile documents list etc. it is a complex property related matter.
amykat Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Well I haven't seen him on the forum for a while, but "AnotherOneAmerican" said he was a lawyer in the US, but is a Thai national as well. He might be able to help you, or refer you to someone good?

There are a couple in pattaya to avoid unless you want to lose your life savings. Unfortunately the British journalist who exposes dodgy foreigners in Thailand isn't allowed to post here anymore.

That's because some of his reporting was dodgy.

scottishjohn Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Is the property in the UK or CM. It could make a difference on the type of advice & documents you want prepared and by who.

The property s in the UK. I have a solicitor there advising me, so I don't need legal advice but would like someone legally trained in Chiang Mai to help me compile documents/statements etc for my solicitor in the UK as there is a lot of paperwork involved. 1
