VW or Audi

Is there a showroom or agent for either of these brands? If there is a local resident/reader who owns either of these I'd appreciate his comments on the availability and quality of maintenance and service - again of either brand. (I have seen relatively new models in Chiangmai but guessed they belonged to rich thais for whom sending the car to BKK no matter the expense would not be a problem.

Would BKK be the right place to hunt for a not-too-old 2nd hand car of either? Are there showrooms there who might sell such checked/certified cars? (Budget around 2.5m baht max).

Simply go to:

http://www.one2car.com/

and you will find the 2 brands you're looking for in abundance.

Brilliant site !

Cheers

Except that it's in thai - which is a problem for me. (I'll have to sit down with a thai friend :))

Secondly, I'd still prefer to buy a certified/checked car from an official showroom.

But thanks.

Appreciate the reference to the reliability site. I wasn't surprised to see the japanese/koreans at the top. I'd have liked to see how the bread-and-butter germans (vw, smaller bmw/audi) fared - below the japanese/koreans, but by how much? If not by much then the other features of the german cars vs the japanese/koreans enters the equation.
