I am going to vietnam from thailand next march, my thai G/F passport expires in july 2014, can I get away with 3 months validity on her passport, or should I renew her passport beforehand, we are going for about 12 days.

She needs to get a new passport. Vietnam requires 6 month passport validity for entry.
