Having A Child In Thailand

Featured Replies

Please can anybody advise me of what's best to do? I'm from England and have a baby due with my Thai partner on 14th April. I am currently in Thailand and have just had to go to Malaysia for a 1month visa, which finishes on 25th March. I had obtained a single entry non immagrent visa before leaving England on the understanding that this would allow me to stay for 12months. When I tried to extend this visa I found out that this was not the case.

Do I have any other option than to visit a Thai Embasy and obtain a tourist visa, and What are my options after the birth?

if you are not yet married then get legally married in Thailand a.s.a.p.!

think of your child!!!!!

you need a certain amount of funds in your account if you want to extend a Non-O visa based on marriage.
