Ironically if you were to leave out the sex tourist bit and change the perspective, it sounds similar to something a feminist may write if she were feeling bitter about men.

As the writer stated, he wasnt able to get what he was looking for in the west, so i can hardly blame him for looking elsewhere if dissatisfied. However, sextourism isnt really the healthiest way to deal with that.
