Democracy PTP style. Imagine the boss's plan. Get the goons re-elected, another 4 year "peoples' mandate", we're democratically elected again so we can really do what we want this time. Fire the judges they don't like, push the 2.2 trillion through, push the amnesty bill through when the times up and "hey presto" ! The boys are back in town, in power and in the money.

...yes, how exactly does one turn a person's resignation into an illegal activity...?

...and as for his comments that delaying the election is impossible, it seems that the election commission seems that it is feasible, so who is he to suggest that he knows better than the governing body?

Desperate times require desperate measures, so the EC has the required authority to delay the elections in order to ensure that reforms may be put in place to ensure that there is no vote-buying etc., or at least, to ensure that there is greater observation of the election process so that vote-buying can be eradicated.

The problem, of course, is that this all of this needs to be 'done and dusted' before the expiry of the 180-day period that is required to kill the Amnesty Bill, once and for all, otherwise, all is lost for the man in Dubai...!
