Yingluck not to attend activities on Children's Day in hopes of easing tension

It suddenly occurred to me how the Thai government will operate, post 'election'.

Yingluck wishes to avoid all places where she may be heckled, therefore assuming Pheua Thai wins the' election', she cannot be PM as she will have to make many public appearances in Bangkok.

Therefore not only Thaksin, but she also, needs a clone.

Step forward Somchai Wongsawat or Pongthep.

But Thaksin cannot trust these two so much, so Thaksin will skype Yingluck who will skype the future PM.

Some countries have 2G, 3G or 4G but here in Thailand we go for 2PM, and coming soon, 3PM.

encourages the children to behave, be grateful, be responsible and disciplined

For what exactly? Ms Yingluck.

Pathetic that these animals can even disrupt childrens day. What have the kids done?

They don't, it just one of the so many poor excuses of fake PM to not adhere to her duties.

Did she cry when she made the announcement ? whistling.gif

OOO aren't you the tough man. What would you know about the situation or the regular death threats made up the PM? Are you even aware that the children's day event if PM Yingluck attended was targeted by Suthep's minions, or is that too unimportant to acknowledge? She did the right thing by not allowing the troubles to impact the children.

You and the other nasty people who are channeling your inner hate at Thailand's PM need a dose of reality.

agree with you geriatrickid!

As we know the protesters are chasing Yingluck. I don't think, if in real life, anyone of you can show yourself in a place where you know you are in danger. You are just brave in mouth...

I think best for all if the Shinawatra dynasty disappear !!

Then it can be order again...

Would you like the military junta to organize some of its troops to goose step by your residence to demonstrate order?

There has only been dynasty in Thailand since 1782: The Chakri Dynasty founded by Rama I. There have been no concurrent dynasties.

Would that be as a puppet for an unelected off-shore criminal or as PM of Thailand?

Sad state of affairs

Staying away for the traditional location seeing as Suthep has declared anywhere she goes being fair game is both smart and sensible. If the scumbag Suthep really cared he would have declared the traditional children's day meet could go ahead without any worry of disruption...

Really people think, do you honestly think its a good idea to put children into a potential flash point ? and if you don't then have the decency to concede avoiding such by not being there is the right and responsible thing to do.

Yingluck should attend the childrens' day celebrations. At the celebrations, she should announce that she is immediately resigning as prime minister in order to allow a peaceful reform process to begin, that will involve the voices of all sectors of society. She will also at the same celebrations disavow Thaksin's involvement with the internal affairs of Thailand from now on. That will diminish the tensions immediately. And something that not only children will celebrate.

Read the Constitution - she cannot resign.

OK now think, cannot or what shall be done if she actually did ??? fine her ???? or if she was ill, or incapacitated. Maggie did in the UK here is different because on paper Thailand says CANNOT --I'm sure there are other escape routes open in the constitution. If one died they cannot resign ???? If they do not have a way out then part of the constitution will have to be changed. to say cannot someone has slipped up in writing it.

You'd have to ask yourself who oversaw this last constitutions introduction ? what level were they ? and knowing the class that did they probably meant "cannot" They just dont understand the true meaning of the word in a bigger context, bit like the word democracy rolleyes.gif

Have no idea who wrote the said constitution, but reading THAI properly it could have included--( in NORMAL circumstances) for all we know ??

Forgetting your (scumbag Suthep) who at the end of the fight here no one will want, just use the man as head of government SURE. like Thaksin they are motivators-manipulators as I posted on another thread.. use him to hope for a new start killing 2 birds with one stone--both then out the picture.

For Children's day.

Get your children out of Bangkok, out of school, ESPECIALLY out of school, where they are mind-screwed on a daily basis by propaganda based lectures that do not benefit the critical thinking power and emotional intelligence, and in case of disagreement will get physically punished and intimidated, ridiculed by the teachers for causing them to lose face

Basically, she is avoiding any activity apart from those in the North and Northeast. As a care taker, the crab woman takes care of nobody but herself.

With so much money but no life! How pathetic that can be? Step down and move back to the North!

Finally someone gets it.

The decision was taken on the advice and in conjunction with security officials. The protestors have stated multiple times that they will protest at whatever event she attends in Bangkok. The children's day event would have been a fiasco and within hours, she would have been savaged by the tvf mob for attending.

It would have made for an easy PR event if she went, but she did the right thing.

The death threats are no secret and are not imaginary and have increased since Suthep started his adventure. PM Yingluck is not alone in being targeted. Other Thai political leaders have reported receiving threats as well. There's a reason why Abhisit has extra protection these days. One need only read some of the comments in tvf that recite the need for her beheading/beating/ killing etc. to understand that there there are nutters walking around .

There are nutters posting on this forum as well (wink wink) cheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gif
