Translation of documents for a UK family visit visa

Hi All

I know it is a topic which crops up frequently, but we are about to start the process of applying for a family visit visa to the UK for my Thai wife, we have done this ourselves half a dozen times before and the process has always been smooth and successful. Despite advice on the UK government website, we have never had the Thai documents translated and was wondering whether anyone has recent experience if this is still OK. We last applied in Jan 2013.
