For my wife=

Which e-reader has a good choice of subjects in Thai?

She likes to read English. What would be ideal is= press an English word and the Thai synonym pops up.

A dream or available?

Which e-reader has a good choice of subjects in Thai?

Or perhaps the more straight question=

1.For what should my wife search to find Thai E -books?

Are there any?

2. What is a good daily, non trashy Thai on-line newspaper/ magazine?

I never found a thai MOBI file, but in theory a basic kindle should fit the bill. If anyone has a MOBI file i would gladly check.

Sorry I am rather ignorant in these matters, no Apple product in the house, only an Android Google Nexus 7 tablet. I guess iOS apps for Thai e-readers will not work, right? Would be kind of strange, many more Thais have Android rather than Apple.

Apparently you can get Kindle for Android.

There are many online Thai bookstores with ebooks to download (just google 'ebooks in Thai').

Here's an Android app: NaiinPann online Bookstore: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.askmedia.naiinpann

Project Gutenberg Thailand is ongoing: http://rikker.blogspot.com/2014/01/project-gutenberg-thailand-2014-update.html

Here's a list of Thai newspapers (sorry, I can't give you advice on what's trashy or not): http://www.w3newspapers.com/thailand/

She can also get news via VOA Thai: http://www.voathai.com/

There's a ton out there, just google.
