Chlorhexidine - where to buy

I want to buy Chlorhexidine wash/scrub

This stuff can be used on animals but also diluted for humans as a topical antiseptic

Where can I get this stuff in Thailand? I live in Chiang Mai. But could order from Bangkok if necessary

Chlorhexidene if my memory serves me right is used as a mouthwash and is sold by some pharmacies in a 1-2% solution. I don't know if the pure form would be available except maybe from a drug wholesalers. You could try asking in your local Boots pharmacy, I have always found them very good for ordering stuff that they don't stock.

It comes both as mouthwash and as solution for the skin.

Any large pharmacy, it is sold under several local brand names including Bacard, Bactricide, Chlorhex, Hexene and many others

I've also seen it for sale in dental clinics. 60 baht a bottle. Clearly labelled Chlorhexidene and recommended as a mouthwash after cleaning/polishing of teeth. Trouble is it numbs the taste buds for a few days after use.
