OK... So Huawei isn't a classy brand. In fact my Ascend cost me only 3,500 Baht. But honestly - I am impressed. It runs Android 4.2, it's really fast, it will manage any app, and the battery life is great. The camera is not very good to be honest, but as a phone and an email/internet device, I can't fault it. Is this the price forcing me to look through rose colored glasses or is this phone as good as I think it is?

It's fairly popular brand actually in North America, or in Canada at least. Good phones from what I've heard!

Thanks - I thought I was losing my perspective!

I have the Huawei Ascend Y300 and I agree it is an excellent phone for the money. About £80 in the UK. It has front and back cameras which is amazing for the price.

The back camera is fine!
