Model Rocketry in Phuket

Hello all,

I've recently taken to messing about with model rockets, manufactured by Estes. I got the kits from the USA. But I was wondering if anyone knows a shop in Phuket that might sell them?

I know there's a little R/C shop on Chao Fo Road West, but I don't think they sell rockets... or do they?

I think there are enough people in Phuket already sending up rockets at all hours of the night.

Wow! that takes me back.

I was really into that in a former life back in the UK. I must have built and flown every model rocket that Estes made.

If I remember correctly the largest motors were not available in the UK, don't know why, but still lots of fun especially the multistage ones.

Always a problem finding enough open space to fly them as they would sometimes drift a looong way.

Had a friend bring a 50 set Meccano (Erector in the USA) set. Not rocket, but lots of fun building stuff.
