Need Favor: Someone Travelling To The Us To Bring My Digital Camera Back

Featured Replies

Hey there...

Is anyone flying back to the states anytime soon?

I was in Bangkok a few months ago and had left my camera while travelling there. Fortunately my friend has the camera and we have been thinking of a way to safely return it back to me in the states. I live in Los Angeles and would appreciate if someone perhaps travelling to anywhere in the states can bring the camera back for me and mail it to me. I would be able to pay/re-imburse anyone and perhaps give some money or favors for them doing this for me.

I just dont want to risk loosing the camera in the mail and I also dont want to pay enormous customs on the camera.

Please email me if you can help me out, thanks

It is usually a bad idea to transport electronic devices on an airplane from someone you don't know, if you get my drift.

One of the questions they ask you in the UK when they check your luggage is ' Has anyone given you anything to carry for them'?

Generally it is a bad idea to transport anything for someone you don't know (and trust).. common sense prevails..

totster :o

Have it sent by DHL, payment upon delivery.

Thats what I would suggest..Fedex or UPS and just state in comments that it was left behind in Thailand. It should be o.k as long as it does not look like new and just out of a box..
