Help finding an IATA approved Dog crate in Korat

Featured Replies

After becoming attached to a very young puppy abandoned at our house in a rice paddy, I've decided to send him home (knowing it won't be cheap). I need a crate that he can fly in and was wondering if anyone knows a place in or around Korat that sells them. I would really prefer not to take the 5 hour bus ride to Bangkok to get one if possible.

One other thing. Because he is so young I am flying him to Koh Samui while I am in Nepal so he can be taken care of, get his vaccines, and become old enough to fly. I called Thai Airways and they said all he needs is a medical certificate to fly within the country. But they were unable to say if it is a medical certificate I can get at a vet or if it has to be the one I get at the Vet in the Airport.

Any info would be appreciated

Thanks in advance

Think I found an answer to my own question. A vet told me there was a shop that sells them across from the Mall. Not sure of the name though. I'll post it when I find out for future reference.

I've had a couple pups shipped in from Europe and the crates were 300 Euros, so if you find a good one that comes from overseas, expect it to be on the expensive side. Good onya to want to ship back home.
