IP-CCTV-Camera Set ? Where?

Featured Replies

Could anybody recommend an IP CCTV Set with 4 cameras and all necessary equipment to monitor via PC & Android and upload / record to cloud. I hope somebody has some concrete experience, as I ma getting nowhere with shop inquiries. Could I possibly install the system myself? Good overall computer knowledge.

Thank you very much. MS> (location Pattaya)

It might be worth a trip to Bangkok's Fortune Tower. On both the 2nd and 3rd floors are shops specializing in such equipment in the corridor area, nearer the building center.

If you are looking for wireless standalone IP cameras, they are expensive. To record streams, you will also need NVR or synology nas with extra IPCam license (expensive).

Traditional cctv is cheap and offers mobile/internet viewing, playing archives etc.

Alternatively you can buy 4 Tenvis p2p cameras, use a cheap mini pc (zotac id 18 or celeron 1037u/1017u cpu lenovo ideabox/chinese mini pc) to capture and record 4 tenvis cameras at the same time. I myself have a couple tenvis iprobot 3 camera (indoor dome 720p cam) and it works fine, cheap too!
