Visa Appointment not shown

Featured Replies

Hi people

I have submitted my Thai partner's UK Visitor Visa on-line at:https://www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk/

Also made the on-line payment, however on the appointment details page there is no appointment date specified.

First of all have I used the correct link I normally visit http://www.vfs-uk-th.com/

however the site re-directed me to https://www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk/

Should I schedule the appointment at https://www.vfs.firm.in/th-apptsystem/appscheduling/appwelcome.aspx or just call the Visa Centre in Bangkok?

Notes: Partner currently in Thailand, me in UK and applying for a 6month visitors visa.

Thanks

RESOLVED:

Seemed to be an issue with the new website (BETA) and the old schedule a booking was down, tried again later and it worked.

  • 2 weeks later...

Got the same problem. Application documents all done; payment made - no appointment showing up, and unable to create one on the system.

Better give them a call I guess...

I had the same trouble a few weeks ago. From what i remember, i went to http://www.vfs-uk-th.com/ and down the left side clicked on "book an appointment". Then clicked on "schedule an appointment". Visa application centre " Bangkok".

Enter all the applicants details, including the GWF number, and dont forget to scroll along to the right as there is some hidden boxes. If your like myself, i've just saved you half hour of head bangingfacepalm.gif

Not an easy process, but got there in the end.

After choosing Bangkok, does it come up with 'Schedule an Appointment' and 'Visa Category', i clicked on 'For All Categories' then clicked on 'Submit'.

Added all the Applicants details, then typed in the security passwords at the bottom, click 'submit', then i think the appointment dates and times are displayed.

If not, just read here that another member is having problems with the application website, might be linked.
