Angry passengers slam Etihad after series of fires were lit on-board flight from Melbourne

GRACE KOELMA WITH JULIAN SWALLOW NEWS LIMITED NETWORK FEBRUARY 19, 2014 10:07PM

TERRIFIED passengers from an Etihad flight on which three fires were lit have hit out at the airline for exposing them to a possible terror threat.
Flight EY461 to Abu Dhabi left Melbourne about 11pm on Monday, but was diverted to Jakarta after smoke was seen coming from two of toilets on the plane.
After security checks at the Indonesian capital the passengers were told immigration issues meant they had to re-board the plane, and just two hours from their destination in Abu Dhabi, another fire broke out.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

The smoke alarm should go off as soon as someone sparks up, so this is obviously something more deranged.

Maybe the 22 year old woman was trying to avoid an arranged marriage?

Reports indicate both the airline staff and authorities on the ground in Indonesia were lax. If someone set one or more fires, he/she should be apprehended and dealt with seriously. Get a couple farang detectives on it.

Sounds like Indonesia wanted nothing to do with it, which is pretty poor.

Just Aussies over reacting to a chain smoker
