Best place to get new glasses in Bangkok?

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I dont know much about glasses back home in the UK either, but my current pair are failing me at the moment and thought I might find a cheap, quality new pair here in bangkok. I have my prescription already from back home so wouldn't necessarily need/want to pay for a new eye test, just the frames and lenses. Anyone have any suggestions? Didn't want to mess about in hospitals or spend more than 2,000 baht either. Are the charoen optical shops any good? Or should I look somewhere inside one of the Central malls?

Cheers,

Laura

there's a private optician shop run by a helpful english speaking guy on pra atiti road in banglampu - right by pra sumen fort.

my friends from back home and i have used him several times. i would trust him before any chains or mall opticians.

i can give more details if you want to message me
