USA LPG BBQ Thai lpg tank ?

Featured Replies

I know this problem has been asked to death , but I can't find a good answer. We are going to move there to Chiang Mai in the near future and I want to bring my new LPG gas BBQ with me. Will it work with the LPG tanks there in Thailand, or will I have to get new hoses there to make them work. The BBQ's there are nice but coast to much, that's why I want to bring mine. Thank you,Ted

The bottle threads are different on US and Thai gas bottles so you won't be able to get refills on yours. Unless things are different since I brought mine over in 2006, you'll just need to buy a Thai bottle and regulator and connect them to your grill.

I'm not going to bring the bottle with us, I'm just concerned about the hose connector to the bottle will work, or if I have to get some kind of adaptor there to connect the hose to there bottle.. Thanks
