I have been trying to call the UK from my mobile using the advertised prefix of 00500 without sucess.

A recorded message (in Thai) tells me I cannot make the call - nothing else. The AIS website was no help.

Do others have the same problem - do you need to subscribe to a package to get cheap international calls from AIS?

I just tried it, 0050044122*******, worked ok.

....failing that, use 009, its a similar price as 00500 to the UK.

If you use +44 prefix - 18 baht a minute for pay as you go.

Use 003 - country code - Fone number - 7 baht a minute
