Looking for the Economist/Spectator/Private eye - anyone seen these here, or know where/how to get a delivered subscription?

Before someone says it, I DO NOT WANT TO READ THEM ONLINE - only looking for real paper issues thanks in advance

Asia Books (I think) front entrance to Jungceylon behind Starbucks. They have the Economist and PrivateEye. Although i get the Economist from a number of outlets ive only seen PE at AsiaBooks. I've never seen The Spectator over here.

Good reads, enjoy

Regular? Yes. The Economist is usually in the racks on the left hand wall as you enter the shop. PE is usually in the rack on the right immediately as you walk in ( the cash till is behind the rack.

Again, enjoy the read

I have an Economist / Intelligent Life subscription, usually arrives. I originally bought a 3 year deal in the UK (about 250 GBP I think) and logged in to my account 3 months later and changed the address to Thailand. I was expecting a call to ask me to pay the difference on original subs fee to change to Thailand, or that it was not possible, but that did not happen, it was all OK and free of charge, and have since moved within Thailand, again the change was free.

I think you can just buy a subscription for delivery to a Thai address from the economist website, but deals are far more regular in the UK, and the cost of a UK full price subscription is significantly less in the first place, so the way I did it might make sense for you - buy a uk sub to a friends house in the UK then log in and change to Thailand after a few issues, save a few hundred quid (very Economical)

Now and again mine go astray, but it is rare - I'd say at most 10% - for me this is acceptable given each issue costs £1.60 rather than the £6 they cost in a newsagent in Thailand. To be honest I think if I really cared I could probably inform the Economist each time and get a subscription extension - they seem to offer brilliant service.
