A 5 year ban from politics must surely have her shaking in her boots.

And another good reason for broad reforms before the next election.

Why do they still need the senate to impeach her if she is guilty?

And a 5 year ban is a pretty meager sentence for bankrupting the country, extreme negligence. There should at least be a prison sentence

The criminal investigation will follow shortly after headed by the DSI cheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gif

sad isn't it clap2.gif

Bring in Judge Judy, 30 days 12 hours a day, next please---next please until she has tried the lot. Keep it straight and simple--to the point. right or wrong.

End of story.

I for one is sick to death of all the B/S. When it is looking at you in the face people talk themselves into believing they are innocent. Sick is the only word that fits these politicians (so called) and all their followers, Get them sent down.

Now some are saying it's not right as the court is biased, If these said people were not involved they would not be facing the judge.

- Why have the unpaid distraught farmers gone very quiet? Something smelly going on here.

Don't really understand most of your post, but I must agree Judge Judy over here dealing with the pols would be awesome.

One Shin in, one Shin out,

Do the hokey-cokey, taking turns about.

There is no point delaying the findings, unless, of course you WANT a proven corrupt and incompetent PM (if found guilty). This is not a vote for the dems, it is a statement against corruption.

No'p,, I wonder if the NACC are following orders, and would it be the first time they did???

I wonder how many have complained about the judicial system here and that if the right influences are applied then almost any outcome is possible in the land of smiles, just like the elderly couple jailed for 15 years for picking mushrooms (any updates on this???) or the Red Bull cop killer can go on holidays, and a well connected young lady can run a mini bus off the toll way and kill 9 people and how many years in jail??? yeah the courts and justice seem to really have NOthing in common here1zgarz5.gif

BUT yes the is a hell of a lot of corruption in the rice gig, now how about charging the ones who put the money in their pockets first...

What's wrong by charging the ones that set up the scheme in such a way that maximum corruption can be achieved?

Go after the people that put the money in their pockets, that would be the corruption which is a criminal act in Thailand, isn't that the job of the NACC???

As far as my limited knowledge of Thai law, allegedly being negligent of duty is not being corrupt, is it??? I guess that's why the worst case scenario for YL is that she is sacked and banned from politics for 5 years, So just what is Suthep's worst case scenario I wonder when he finally faces charges???

I'm sure if they actually had a case against Yingluck that could stand even the slightest amount of independent scrutiny details would have leaked. This is another ridiculous attempt at a judicial coup which will again fail. In fact it's so obvious that another coup wont be tolerated that I would not be surprised if the court actually abandons its frivilous plans and acquits the pretty lady, much the same way they rejected the Democrats bid to have the Feb 2 election tossed out. Suthep has gone all in on the verdict going his way - when it doesn't the jig is up for him. 13 - 15 of March is to be victory day for the constitution, the rule of law, Ms Yingluck, truth, justice and the American way.

She is charged for negligence. Simply speaking, making the state loose money by doing stupid and obvious things. being negligent. It's not that difficult to understand..

You know what? If you have a house, next time you go on holiday leave the door open, leave a lot of cash in the kitchen drawer and when something gets stolen you go to the police and tell them you have nothing to do with it. It's not your fault that the money got stolen.

Get it??

I would like to see yingluck step down as well and have a real election. Anyone applauding a judicial coup, however, is applauding a further fractured Thailand. At some point the yellows will have to come to terms that their countrymen to the north are here to stay and also outnumber them. Also, it just might be that the red shirt movement is bigger than the shins

So which is it? The courts are trying to stage a judicial coup of which the NACC is complicit and that there is NO evidence on behalf of Yingluck who all the courts are against on the basis that if there was any evidence it would have leaked out, whistle blower style, and not covered up PT style? Oh wait, yes, that whistle blower was covered up PT style.

If the courts are all against her then why did the court throw out the Dems attempt to cancel the election?

Hmm methinks you are a confused fellow.

I see it different. The Shins AND the Red movement are smaller (but more violent) than you think.

The answer is so simple for dear YK all she has to do ....to quote a movie.....show us the money...?

Where is all cash from the rice scam.?....its really that simple

The problem here is that the man in Dubai is not about to send it back. In fact, he is willing to see Thailand in flames in order to keep it. It also wouldn't surprise me if he was even willing to sacrifice little sis.

Meanwhile, the pro-government People Radio for Democracy (PRD) is set to petition the NACC today over the rush to indict Prime Minister on the pledging case. The group urged the NACC to formally proceed with their charges against Ms Yingluck after a new government has been formed and results of the past election announced.

No denial of guilt, only a call to slow down. We are willing to throw Yingluck under the bus, but only after we are government again. There are 2 trillion baht at stake here, you can trust us to look after it wisely, after all look how well we did "helping the farmers have a better life", with the possible exception of the eleven suicides of course.

Who needs a judicial coup? She's buried herself under 10 million tonnes of legal crap without any external assistance. Chair of rice scheme => doomed.

Yingluck has all but given up as PM anyway. She just has not officially announced it yet, because she wants to be thrown out to spark the blue touch paper for the big north uprising and attempted establishment of a separation.

It may not even get to a NACC decision, the Constitutional Court can quite legally remove her by 12.01 on Wednesday under the article of the constitution that declares if no government has been picked after 30 days from the main election date, the caretaker government should be removed and an interim government installed until such a time as a total cabinet and parliament can be assembled.

Yingluck has now become totally defunct as PM, she really doesn't do any work as the country descends into chaos, all the signs that she has totally given up, and is working on something else.... which we all know exactly what.... See 'secession'.

From what I have seen she has never done any work expected of a PM except for one assignment and that is of course bringing the dear leader back free and clear. She has attended parliament what, two times during her tenure as PM? She reminds me of Peter Sellers in the movie "Being There". If they ever make a sequel Yingluck would be perfect for the role.

Far from confused. It appears as though it is an aborted putsch.

2006 = military coup - wont be accepted again

2008 = judicial coup - just realised wont be accepted again

The recent activity in the north as put an end to the delusional hopes of a few that they could use the courts to snatch power again.

Now it's just retreat, retreat, retreat as fast as they can.

The party really is over and the good guys have won.

Agree, plus:

- Where is she? Why is the pm not visible in activities and public comments relating to the serious problems the country is facing? The only time she's seen is for photo ops which could be seen as electioneering.

- What's happening in regard to the farmers who have been waiting for 6 months and more for their payouts? Payment was promised (again) for late last week. Virtually nothing happened, what's the story?

- Why have the unpaid distraught farmers gone very quiet? Something smelly going on here.

Guess you missed it, the farmers have started to be payed, I think a start of 712 million to some 3,000- 4,000 farmers?

If this will go as the "big brother's passport' issue, a week after the 15th of March Ms. Yingluck will state to have been too busy with running the country (into ruin) to find time to submit additional evidence she didn't do anything. Her team of legal representatives are formally asking for an anti-dated postponement. The NAAC will say 'no' and Pheu Thai members and red-shirts will talk about double standards, throw the odd grenade and a new generation of TV members will come forward to defend the Isaan darling.

IMHO, that is biggrin.png

THB 712 million out of THB 130 billion outstanding payments. Yes you are right, 0.55% of outstanding payments have been paid to the farmers. This group had been waiting since September 2013.
